MC Eiht Recalls Crack-Selling Days, Gangbanging As A Youth

With N.W.A. burst onto the scene in the late 1980s, a spotlight on Compton helped usher in a number of local talent... including MC Eiht.

The Compton rap legend is known for being one of the originals in gangster rap, as well as his role as A-Wax in the 1993 hood classic, Menace II Society.

In an interview with VLAD TV, Eiht recalls his youth in Compton, from crack-selling to gangbanging. He explains the explosion of crack in the 1980s, while detailing the gang culture and how he was initiated onto his set.
