Kevin Garnett Passes Karl Malone For All-Time Def. Rebounds
Timberwolves forward Kevin Garnett became the NBA's all-time leader in defensive rebounds last week, during the team's win over the Nuggets.
The 39-year-old NBA legend eclipsed the record, which was previously held by the great Karl Malone, with 11,409 for his career.
Garnett's career rebound total, including defensive and offensive boards, stands at 14,612, putting him at ninth all-time. Among active players, he behind only the San Antonio Spurs' Tim Duncan, who has 14,828.
