Kevin Durant Out 7-10 Days With Hamstring Strain
Kevin Durant is expected to miss at least 7-10 days with a left hamstring strain, the Oklahoma City Thunder announced Wednesday.
The NBA star suffered the injury late in the second quarter against the Washington Wizards on Tuesday, though the Thunder would go on to win, 125-101. He landed awkwardly after a hard drive to the basket and immediately grabbed at his left leg.
K.D. underwent an MRI on Wednesday morning that confirmed the strain. After 7-10 days, he'll be re-evaluated.
Durant, 27, is averaging 28.1 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists in eight games this season.
