Steelers’ Ben Roethlisberger Sidelined With Foot Sprain
Ben Roethlisberger is expected to sidelined for the second time this season, with a foot sprain.
The Steelers QB suffered a mid-foot sprain on Sunday, during Pittsburgh's game against the Oakland Raiders.
Roethlisberger left the field in a cart in the fourth quarter, before leaving Heinz Field altogether for further evaluation. He's expected to be out a few weeks.
It's the second time the star quarterback has been injured this season. In Week 3, he suffered a sprained MCL that kept him out four weeks.
Before Sunday's injury, Roethlisberger passed for 334 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. He was replaced by Landry Jones, who completed a 59-yard pass to Brown in the final minute to help set up Chris Boswell's game-winning field goal.
The Steelers earned a 38-35 victory over the Raiders.
