Police Raid Lil Wayne’s Miami Mansion, Seize Assets

Lil Wayne

Authorities raided Lil Wayne's Miami Beach mansion on Tuesday (Nov. 3), serving a court order to seize property to satisfy a judgment involving unpaid private jet bills.

According to TMZ, security at Wayne's home refused to allow officers inside, but they explained that they were there to seize, due to a recent lawsuit by a private jet company, claiming the rapper owed $2 million.

Back in September, a judge ordered Weezy to pay out a $2 million judgement to the company, including $200,000 in lawyers fees... after he failed to pay an outstanding bill for two years.

To recover the money, the court order allowed Miami-Dade County Sheriff's deputies to raid Wayne's Miami home and confiscate seizable assets.

Wayne was not home at the time. He was seen at a Los Angeles strip club the night before.
