Tom Brady Says He Wants To Play For “10 More Years”
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is an elite quarterback, even at the age of 38. But, how much longer can he play?
In a conference call with media on Wednesday (Oct. 21), Brady said he has a lot left in him.
"I'd like to play a long time," Brady said. "There's a lot that goes into playing well -- I've played with a lot of great teammates. But I want to play for a long time. Maybe 10 more years."
This season, Brady is off to a great start... and is obviously feeling young. He's completing 70.6 percent of his passes and throwing 14 touchdowns and just one interception for the undefeated Patriots.
For him to play into his late 40s, he realizes a lot of his stars have to align.
"It's not always up to me," Brady said of playing another decade. "That's what my goals are. So, that's just what I'm hoping. It'll take a lot to achieve that. Obviously, a team has to want you. But, I love playing this sport. I love making the commitment to my teammates and my coaches, and hopefully I can do it for a long time."
