“Back To The Future” Earns Nearly $5 Million At Theaters
Back To The Future fans flocked to movie theaters showing the Robert Zemeckis sci-fi trilogy the big screen once again.
All three films were released at a limited number of theaters on Wednesday (Oct. 21), the exact date Marty McFly and Doc Brown traveled to in Back to the Future Part II.
Dubbed Back To The Future Day, the screenings earned $1.65 million from 1,815 North American theaters, and $3.2 million abroad for a total of $4.85 million worldwide.
The Back to the Future films will continue to show through the weekend.
