Gucci Mane Pens Letter To Fans From Prison
Although he's still incarcerated, Gucci Mane checks in with his fans via a handwritten letter.
Gucci took to Twitter on Saturday (Oct. 17) to release a letter addressed to his fans, in which he explains why he's unique.
"The difference between me and the average entertainer is they dream of signing to a major label so they can have this giant machine push them and propel them to stardom," Gucci Mane writes. "But, I don't have that dream.
"My reality is I am all I got, I am the machine behind me. The streets signed me and the Trap named me God," he continued.
Before signing off, Gucci asked fans to call him "The Machine." "I am a machine. They call me Gucci some call me Guwop, but they should call me THE MACHINE," he said.
Oct. 17 is Guwop Day, an unofficial holiday where Gucci Mane fans come together to celebrate his music.
Gucci has been incarcerated since 2013. It's unclear when he'll be released.
