Pelicans To Sign Veteran Guard Nate Robinson
The New Orleans Pelicans are set to sign veteran guard Nate Robinson, sources tell ESPN.
The Pelicans are finalizing a deal with Robinson to fill a void. It will likely be a one-year veteran minimum deal.
They've been struck by a number of injuries this preseason and are in need of a guard, especially with the loss of Norris Cole, who is expected to miss six weeks with a high ankle sprain.
Robinson, 31, played in 42 games last year for the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers, averaging just over 5 points and 14 minutes a game.
