Ferrari Unveils F12 TdF
Ferrari's F12 Berlinetta gets an unlikely upgrade... in the form of this new F12 TdF.
Inspired by the 250 GT and Ferrari's nine-straight wins at the legendary Tour de France from 1956 through 1964, the F12 TdF sports a 6.3-liter V12 upgraded to around 770 horsepower with increased torque of 520 pound-feet.
It also features a seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission, allowing it to upshift 30% faster, downshifting 40% faster and offering ratios 6% shorter than before.
The exterior was overhauled with lighter and more aerodynamic construction for 87% more downforce, as well as a weight reduction of 240 pounds.
Due to these upgrades, the F12 TdF can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.9 seconds, with a top speed of 211 mph.
