Despite carrying a $150 million budget, Pan failed to draw people to theaters this weekend, as The Martian topped the box office in its second week.

Pan debuted in third place over the weekend, earning just $15.5 million. The PG film, sold as a Peter Pan origin story stars Hugh Jackman, Garrett Hedlund and
actress Rooney Mara.
