Chiefs’ Jamaal Charles Out For Season With Torn ACL
The Kansas City Chiefs are already off to a bad start, with a 1-4 record... and things just got worse.
An MRI revealed Monday (Oct. 12) that running back Jamaal Charles has torn the ACL in his right knee... and will miss the rest of the season, reports ESPN.
Charles left Sunday's game against the Bears, which they lost by one point.
So far, the Chiefs have brought in former New Orleans Saints running back Pierre Thomas for a workout, and are also expected to work out Ben Tate.
Kansas City has used Charcandrick West as their backup for Charles. He rushed seven times on Sunday, for 31 yards.
