Daniel Craig Says He’s “Over” Playing James Bond
English actor Daniel Craig has played James Bond in four films, and while they've been successes, he's ready to move on.
In an interview with Time Out London -- which was conducted in July, just days after an eight-month shoot for Spectre -- Craig sounded exhausted in his most prominent role.
When asked if he'd reprise his role as 007 for a fifth film, Craig replied: "Now? I'd rather break this glass and slash my wrists... I'm over it at the moment. We're done. All I want to do is move on."
Despite the statement, Craig goes on to admit he hasn't give it much thought at all... and doesn't want to for, at least, a couple years.
"For at least a year or two, I just don't want to think about it. I don't know what the next step is. I've no idea," he said. "Not because I’m trying to be cagey. Who the f*ck knows? At the moment, we've done it. I'm not in discussion with anybody about anything. If I did another Bond movie, it would only be for the money."
SPECTRE hits theaters on Nov. 6.
