Rick Ross Announces Upcoming Album, “Black Market”
Rick Ross appeared on The Breakfast Club radio show on Tuesday (Oct. 6), where he announced his next album, titled Black Market.
Ross says the forthcoming album will be a continuation of his Black Dollar mixtape, which dropped in August.
"What we do is just build on what we got and take it to the next level," Ross explained. "I think that's what this project is all about. Touching the streets with Black Dollar and introducing them to the new album, which is titled Black Market."
The Miami rapper goes on to confirm that the upcoming Black Market album will be his last album under contract with Def Jam, and is due out in December.
Later, Ross addresses his recent legal trouble. He was released from jail in July on $2 million bail, on charges of kidnapping, aggravated assault and aggravated battery.
In the interview, he confirmed that he's still on house arrest, but continues working. "Under the circumstances, I just make the best of it, working the most," Ross said. "We got recording studios. We got the film team."
