Missy Elliott Sued Over Cancelled Concerts In Brazil
Missy Elliott is being sued for allegedly skipping out on a Brazilian TV appearance and two concerts, reports Page Six.
Jean Faustin of the Maestro Global Media Group filed the lawsuit in Manhattan Supreme Court recently, which claims Elliott received a $75,000 deposit to perform in Rio and Porto Alegre in November.
And, as part of the agreement, the rapper/producer was supposed to promote the performances on Brazilian TV... but Elliott was a no-show. Furthermore, when the concerts were cancelled, she kept the deposit.
Missy has yet to respond publicly to the lawsuit.
