Hundreds Come Out For Amber Rose’s SlutWalk In L.A.
Hundreds came out to Downtown Los Angeles' Pershing Square on Saturday (Oct. 3), in support of Amber Rose's first annual "SlutWalk."
Launched to empower women, as well as express "outrage toward issues of sexual violence, gender inequality, derogatory labeling and victim blaming," Rose drew a crowd of supporters that were mostly female... some of which were even shirtless.
Holding a sign that read "Strippers Have Feelings Too," Rose led the group on a brief walk down Olive Street in support of the cause.
"I deal with a lot of equality issues in my own life, and I wanted to make a difference any way I can," Rose told MTV of the inspiration behind the SlutWalk. "Basically, me and my team put our blood, sweat and tears into developing our own SlutWalk to bring awareness to what's going on."
