Dana White Says Georges St-Pierre Is Never “Coming Back”

Georges St-Pierre

UFC star Georges St-Pierre officially walked away from the sport back in 2013, following a controversial split decision win over Johny Hendricks at UFC 167.

While it was unclear when he'd return, UFC president Dana White recently said he's never "coming back."

During a press conference for UFC 193 in Australia, White essentially said St-Pierre doesn't have it in him anymore.

"GSP's rich, man, he's hanging out and he's living the good life. In this sport you have to be hungry," he said, according to The Sun. "You have to jump out of bed every day and want it. You've gotta want to win, you've gotta want to be a world champion. He's had it. He's accomplished all that stuff. He's made a lot of money, he's accomplished a lot of things. I don't see him ever coming back, no."

St-Pierre is now 34. In late 2013, he said he was taking a break from MMA indefinitely, citing personal and professional problems.

IF Dana actually said this, he's doing it to bait GSP to return. Dana know Georges still has it in him.

I hope St. Pierre doesn't come back, there is ZERO reason for him to endure any more punishment from the the sport. He's too smart to go back at 34, with growing evidence that contact sports can often result in CTE later in life. Did you realize that he has already suffered from memory lapses where he doesn't recall what happened for several hours at a time? So you can imagine he'd not want to subject himself to more brain trauma.
