Peyton Manning Eclipses 70K Career Passing Yards
Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning made history on Thursday night (Sept. 17), when he surpassed 70,000 career passing yards.
The 39-year-old became just the second quarterback to reach the milestone, behind Brett Favre, who holds the record with 71,838 career passing yards.
Manning is expected to eclipse Favre's mark this season.
According to ESPN, just one other quarterback has surpassed 60,000 yards passing in a career: Hall of Famer Dan Marino, who had 61,361 career passing yards.
Manning finished the evening with 256 yards passing, going 26-of-45 with three touchdowns and an interception, during the Broncos' 31-24 comeback win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
