50 Cent Blasts BET Hip-Hop Awards & Emmys

Following the BET Hip-Hop Awards nominations this week, 50 Cent took to social media to express his displeasure with being left off the list.

Fif, specifically, called out the network for snubbing video director Eif Rivera, who has directed the majority of the rapper's videos in recent years, along with other A-list rappers.

"Director of the Year, where the f*ck is Eif Rivera?" 50 writes on Instagram, along with a picture of him and Rivera with a stack of money. "You have the same list ever year. SMH wack."

In the category, BET nominated Alan Ferguson, Benny Boom, Chris Robinson/Lil Chris, Colin Tilley and Director X. Last year's nominees were Benny Boom, Chris Robinson, Director X, Dre Films and Hype Williams, who took home the trophy.

The 10th annual BET Hip Hop Awards are scheduled for taping on Oct. 9 in Atlanta, with the show airing on the network on Oct. 13.

Aside from BET, 50 Cent took issue with the 67th Emmys, after his Starz series Power was not nominated. However, FOX's rival series Empire received a nomination for Outstanding Costumes, while cast member Taraji P. Henson is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.

"Man these people act like POWER ain't sh*t," 50 Cent writes under a picture of the awards' logo. "See why I be trippin. I saw that trophy in the store for $20 bucks I'm gonna just go buy one f*ck it."

The 67th Emmy Awards are scheduled for September 20.
