Cowboys Get WR Brice Butler Via Trade From Raiders

Brice Butler

After losing Dez Bryant to injury, the Dallas Cowboys moved quickly to fill the void at receiver by acquiring Brice Butler in a trade with the Raiders.

The 25-year-old confirmed the move on Tuesday (Sept. 15), via Twitter. Reports said the Cowboys traded a conditional 2016 NFL Draft pick for Butler.

He was a seventh-round draft pick in 2013 out of San Diego State. In two seasons with Oakland, he recorded 30 catches for 383 yards and two touchdowns.

Butler joins a Cowboys receiver roster that includes Terrance Williams, Cole Beasley and Devin Street

Dez Bryant suffered a broken foot in the Cowboys' win against the New York Giants on Sunday (Sept. 13).
