Redskins’ DeSean Jackson Out For 3-4 Weeks
Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson is expected to miss 3-4 weeks, after suffering a strained hamstring on Sunday (Sept. 13).
The team said Jackson underwent an MRI on Monday (Sept. 14), and said he may return earlier, but it's uncertain.
The 28-year-old receiver suffered the injury in the first quarter, when he ran a deep route on an overthrow by quarterback Kirk Cousins. After the play, he grabbed at his leg and was worked on by trainers for several minutes on the sideline.
