Chris Brown Sued Over Bay Area Concert Shooting
Five people were shot during a Chris Brown concert in San Jose, Calif. back in January... and now, the singer is being sued over it.
According to CBS San Francisco, a man named Paul Briley has filed a lawsuit against Brown and the nightclub over injuries he sustained in the shooting.
Briley was one of the five victims, and says he's suffered permanent injury to his foot. He's seeking damages for lost wages, medical expenses and "all past, present, and future physical, mental and emotional pain and suffering, including fright, shock, terror, and post-traumatic stress of being shot."
In court docs, the man says the venue should have employed better security because of past incidences of violence at Brown's concerts.
The documents also cites Brown's violent behavior against his ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
