Adidas & Derrick Rose Introduce The D Rose 6

After teasing the shoe earlier in the month, Adidas officially unveils the latest signature shoe for Derrick Rose, the D Rose 6.

The sneaker is inspired by the NBA star's will to never stop, as well as his journey of overcoming adversity, while complimenting his aggressive. It also features the brand's BOOST technology.

"This is the second shoe I've been able to wear with Boost and the comfort and energy you get back is crazy," Rose said of the shoe. "I'm not going to wear another basketball shoe that doesn't have Boost. Adidas also brought a lot of details about Chicago that I think my fans will love."

The D Rose 6 is equipped with a full-length basketball-specific Boost sole, alongside a FITFRAME heel cage and straps that deliver an adaptive fit that moves with the foot. The outside features a herringbone traction pattern, which was inspired by woodgrain textures and design, that offers optimum grip for drives to the bucket.

As with previous models, the shoe adopts an array of nods to his hometown, such as Chicago's six-point star at the base of the laces as six reflective lines decorate the heel. Finally, a diamond-patterned upper and faceted eyelets recall the sharp, bold architectural tradition of the Windy City.

The D Rose 6 debuts October 15 in a white "Home" colorway, before a black "Road" edition drops November 5.
