Young Buck Dodges Prison Time For Faked Drug Test
Update: Despite TMZ's report that Young Buck is headed to prison, the rapper's attorney says he dodged jail time.
"I am glad that Judge Campbell agreed with our joint recommendation that Buck be sentenced to probation, a fine, community service and drug treatment," his attorney, Scott Leemon, told ThisIs50.com. "This was a fair result, most importantly, because Buck was spared any prison time and permitted to get back on the road to perform and make new music. In fact, he went right from court to go meet 50 on his Effen vodka tour."
Young Buck is going to prison... for faking a drug test.
Back in May, the rapper was caught by his probation officer trying to fake his drug test. He was seen using a tube to submit someone else's clean urine as a sample for testing. Following the incident, Buck faced jail time.
According to TMZ.com, he's officially going to prison now, because falsifying a court-ordered urine test is a felony, punishable by up to five years in prison.
How long Buck will be incarcerated is currently unknown.
