Wiz Khalifa Handcuffed At LAX For Riding Hoverboard
Wiz Khalifa was tackled and handcuffed at LAX on Sunday (August 23), after refusing to get off his hoverboard.
The rapper shared a video of his run-in with U.S. Customs officers, which shows him being pinned to the ground while they tell him to quit resisting.
"I am not resisting, sir," Wiz says in the video.
In another video, which he posted on Twitter, Wiz is shown standing handcuffed, while telling them: "I didn't do nothing. What you want to do? Put me in jail because I didn't listen to what you say?"
A spokesman for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection said Wiz Khalifa was not arrested, but says he failed to follow their orders.
All because I didn't want to ditch the technogy everyone will be using in the next 6 months. Do what you want kids. pic.twitter.com/7F0KIQgFrA
