Rick Ross Being Sued Over Failed Super Bowl XLIX Party
Rick Ross is being sued by company for failing to promote a Super Bowl XLIX party he was to headline in Arizona.
According to TMZ, Conexts booked the rap star for the January 30th event that was scheduled to go down at the Scottsdale Mall Amphitheater. And, part of the agreement was that he would heavily promote the event via social media, but they said he only did one post.
Conexts says Rozay was contracted to do DAILY social posts for two weeks leading up to the event. He didn't, which in turn, it impacted ticket sales.
He was paid $55,000 up front and was scheduled to get another $55,000 during the night of the event. However, days before, they pulled the plug and issued refunds.
The company has filed suit against Ross for failing to hold up his end of the contract. They are seeking $55,000, plus damages.
