Former #1 Pick Greg Oden Signs With Chinese Team
The career of former No. 1 overall NBA draft pick Greg Oden isn't over.
Though his days in the NBA may be numbered, the 27-year-old has inked a one-year, $1.2 million deal to play for the Jiangsu Dragons of the Chinese Basketball Association, reports ESPN.
The 7-footer last played for the Miami Heat in 2013-14, appearing in 23 games after a three-season layoff.
Oden, who was selected ahead of Kevin Durant in the 2007 draft, has played a total of 105 games, after suffering multiple injuries.
He averaged 8.0 points and 6.2 rebounds per game over his NBA career, during which he has made $24.4 million.
