Lil Wayne Sued Over $120K In Unpaid Sporting Event Tickets
It's no secret that Lil Wayne is a sports fanatic. You see him regularly sitting courtside at NBA games and ringside at big boxing matches.
However, tickets to events like this are big money... and a company is suing him for not paying his bill.
According to TMZ.com, Tickets of America and White Glove International have filed a lawsuit against the rapper's Young Money Entertainment label, claiming he owes nearly $120,000 in sporting event tickets.
The lawsuit claims Weezy purchased tickets for high-profile sporting events like Mayweather vs. Pacquiao ($67,500), Super Bowl XLVII ($14,000) and a number of NBA games... but never paid up.
Lil Wayne reportedly purchased the tickets between February 2013 and June 2015.
However, the rapper is not named in the lawsuit. Instead, Young Money and his manager Cortez Bryant are named.
