Rich Homie Quan Suing Label Over Unpaid Royalties
Rich Homie Quan is claiming he's been ripped off by his label, and is suing.
In his lawsuit, obtained by TMZ.com, the Atlanta rapper claims T.I.G. Entertainment and its CEO stole around $2 million from him in royalties and advances. Specifically, he claims he's been stiffed for royalties from several albums, as well as his hit singles, "Flex" and "Type of Way."
Furthermore, Quan says the label's CEO used the money owed to him to buy Atlanta real estate for $159,500, and even pocketed $550,000 from a distribution deal with Def Jam for "Type of Way."
Quan has since severed ties with T.I.G. Entertainment.
