Busta Rhymes Arrested On Assault Charge, After Fight At Gym
Busta Rhymes was arrested at New York City gym on Wednesday night (August 5), for an alleged assault.
According to CBS New York, the rapper (real name: Trevor Smith) was working out at Steel Gym in the Chelsea area of New York, when he got into an argument with another person.
Busta allegedly threw a bottle of Lean Body Protein at the man, who refused medical attention at the scene.
The rapper was later arrested for second degree assault, and has since been released on his own recognizance.
His lawyer, Scott Leemon, cakked the allegations "a bunch of bull." "This is another attempt to take advantage of Busta’s celebrity status," he said.
