Robert Downey Jr. Leads Forbes’ World’s Highest-Paid Actors List

Robert Downey Jr. leads Forbes' 2015 list of the "World's Highest-Paid Actors," beating out the second place actor by more than $30 million.

The 50-year-old, who plays Iron Man in the Marvel film universe, pulled in an estimated $80 million between June 2014 and June 2015, thanks to the success of Avengers: Age of Ultron, which grossed more than $1.3 billion worldwide. It was his highest ever annual payday.

Veteran Chinese actor Jackie Chan, 61, comes in second with earnings of $50 million in the past year, thanks to films such as Dragon Blade, as well as merchandise.

Vin Diesel grabbed third place with $47 million, coming mainly from his stake in the Fast and Furious franchise.

Bradley Cooper landed in fourth with $41.5 million, Adam Sandler in fifth with $41 million and Tom Cruise in sixth with $40 million.
