Travi$ Scott Kicked Off Stage, Arrested At Lollapalooza
Update: According to the AP, Scott (real name: Jacques Webster) was arrested Saturday, shortly after the incident, and faces disorderly conduct charges.
Travi$ Scott was kicked off the stage at Lollapalooza on Saturday (August 1), shortly after his set began.
Billboard reported the news, which said the Texas rapper's set lasted just five minutes.
Scott reportedly "cussed out security and told fans to jump the barricade," prompting police -- alongside security -- to shut down his set.
"Fans jumped the barricade into the security pit at Lollapalooza during Travis Scott's performance on Saturday. The situation was resolved quickly and no patrons were injured. Operations have resumed as normal. Chicago Police are handling the matter," a rep for Lollapalooza said in a statement.
The three-day festival took place in Chicago this weekend, from July 31 to August 2. Other performers included Kid Cudi, A$AP Rocky, Tyler the Creator and Pell.
