Taylor Swift Apologizes To Nicki Minaj
After Nicki Minaj went on a Twitter rant, regarding her hit "Anaconda" being left out of the "Video of the Year" noms for the 2015 MTV VMAs, Taylor Swift spoke up... feeling as though the rapper's comments were directed toward her.
Swift does lead the year's nominee pack... including the coveted Video of the Year category, so she felt she was the target.
However, shortly after the pop star's reply, Nicki told her she must be confused... because she didn't mention her.
A day later, Swift is apologizing, admitting she jumped to conclusions over Nicki's comments.
"I thought I was being called out. I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke. I'm sorry, Nicki. @NICKIMINAJ," Taylor wrote.

The comment Swift specifically felt was aimed at her was: "If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year."
