Birdman Ready To Take Tyga To Court Over “The Gold Album”
Tyga surprised fans last month, when he dropped The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty for free on Spotify... and had limited copies for sale.
In fact, when numbers came back, he sold a paltry 2,200 units
Birdman, however, doesn't want to count the project against his contract, which the rapper has been battling to be released from since Fall 2014.
According to TMZ.com, the Cash Money Records co-founder is ready to take Tyga to court, if necessary, because he feels like he torpedoed the album on purpose.
By comparison, Tyga's last record album, Hotel California, has sold nearly 500,000 copies to date.
Birdman feels he dropped the album, after numerous delays, to fulfill his contract ... and finally be free.
Word is Tyga wants to signed directly to Lil Wayne.
