2 Chainz Being Sued For $5 Million After Calling Woman “A Thot”
2 Chainz is being sued by a woman seeking $5 million, claiming she was fired from her job after popping up in a video alongside the rapper and others.
According to Billboard, Christine Chisholm is featured in a video, which looks like it was shot in the backstage area of a concert, where the rapper refers to her as a "thot" (an acronym for "that ho over there") while asking her why she's backstage.
In the clip, 2 Chainz and fellow rapper Cap 1 go back and forth on whether Chisholm is the woman they're looking for. "We apologize. We thought you were the other Tina," 2 Chainz tells her, before another man tells her to "walk out the door." 2 Chainz also told her, "While you're back here you're in blog territory," referring to the possibility that it would appear online.
In a lawsuit filed against the rapper, she claims was fired from her job at a barbershop because of the manager felt that the video would bring the shop "negative publicity," said TMZ.
Chisholm is suing for $5,000,000 in damages, and is also claiming that the harassment and public abuse has damaged her reputation.
2 Chainz's camp has not commented.
