Azealia Banks Addresses Homophobe Accusations
Azealia Banks has been accused many times of being a homophobe, because of her use of gay slurs on social media. However, she says that couldn't be further from the truth.
The Harlem rapper took to Twitter Friday (July 3) to vent her frustrations over the accusations, claiming she's closer to the LGBT community than most know.
"It's really tiring having explain myself to people I'm not even talking to. Because of course I don't wanna piss off my fans," Banks wrote, pointing out that it's not only men who are gay -- but women too.
She continued, saying that "all" of her friends are gay, she has a transgender sibling and she is personally bisexual.
