Mayweather Tops Forbes “World’s Highest-Paid Celebrities” List

Floyd Mayweather

Topping 2015 World's Highest-Paid Celebrities list by Forbes this year is Floyd Mayweather... with earnings of $300 million.

The number shattered the record for athlete earnings, previously held by Tiger Woods, mostly due to the boxer's huge fight with Manny Pacquiao in early May.

In second is Pacquiao, who had the biggest payday of his career, earning $160 million in the past year, including $23 million he earned for his November fight against Chris Algieri. Other income came from endorsement deals with Nike, Foot Locker and more.

Katy Perry lands at #3 with earnings of $135 million, thanks mostly to her "Prismatic World Tour", where she earned a reported $2 million per city.

One Direction comes in fourth with $130 million, while Howard Stern closes out the top 5 with $95 million.
