Steph Curry Treated For Dehydration, Should Be “Fine”
The 2015 NBA Finals look to be taxing on reigning MVP Stephen Curry, who experienced symptoms of dehydration after Game 5 of the NBA Finals, according to the Golden State Warriors.
The Warriors lead the series 3-2, after winning 104-91 on Sunday night (June 14), where the 27-year-old played 30 of the first 33 game action minutes and finished with 37 points in 42 minutes.
According to ESPN.com, Curry's father Dell and Warriors security guard Ralph Walker ushered him to the locker room after the postgame news conference, where he received drinking fluids to relieve the dehydration.
The team said he should be "fine" going forward, and is expected to play in Game 6 of the NBA Finals on Tuesday (June 16).
If the Warriors win on Tuesday, it will be the team's first title in 40 years.
