YG Shot In Los Angeles
Rapper YG was shot early Friday morning (June 12) at an Los Angeles recording studio, reports TMZ.
Police say the Compton rapper (real name: Keenon Daequan Ray Jackson) was shot three times in the hip at around 1:45 a.m. in Studio City.
Despite being shot, YG got in his car and someone from his entourage drove him to a nearby hospital.
His condition is currently unknown. However, the rapper's manager confirmed Friday that he had been shot three times, but is "fine. Shot three times but nothing life-threatening," the manager said.
Police tried to interview YG at the hospital, but he was said to be "very uncooperative." The shooter is still at large.
