MC Ren Upset Over Being Left Off “Straight Outta Compton” Trailers
MC Ren was there at the beginning of what would become legendary hip-hop group N.W.A. However, with the upcoming biopic Straight Outta Compton due out in August, he isn't exactly supportive of the film.
The rap vet says he's been left out of the trailers... and isn't happy.
Ren took to Twitter on Wednesday (June 10) to air out his frustrations about the situation.
"Man f*ck these bitches at universal pictures leaving me out the movie trailers tryin to rewrite history," he wrote. "When you have bitches work on a hip hop film that don't know sh*t about hip hop this is what happens. How the hell u leave me out after all."
"The work I put into them records. It's disrespectful to me, my family and most of all my FANS," Ren continued.

So far, the trailers for the anticipated film predominately features the actors who play Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Eazy-E, and manager Jerry Heller. Members DJ Yella and MC Ren have been left out.
In addition to being a member of N.W.A., Ren is credited with writing nearly half of Eazy-E's debut album, Eazy-Duz-It.
