The home of Philadelphia Eagles star receiver DeSean Jackson was robbed this week, and crooks made off with more than $250,000 in cash and jewelry, as well as a handgun.
According to the AP, the burglary happened sometime earlier in the week at Jackson's home in South Philadelphia, close to where the NFL team practices. Robbers took cash and jewelry from a safe, and a silver 9mm handful.
An investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made, as of press time.
Jackson's season is over, after the Eagles lost in the first round of the playoffs to the Saints earlier this month.
He finished the regular season the team's leading receiver with 82 catches for 1,332 yards and nine touchdowns. He signed a five-year, $51 million contract before the 2012 season.
