Vault by Vans is the brand's timeless collection of its classic footwear, inspired by modern street fashion, art, music and 45-plus years of heritage in skateboarding and surfing.

First launched in July 2003, the Vaults celebrates 10 years, as Vans takes a look back at some of their most renowned Vault projects.

Since its creation, Vault has melded the worlds of high-fashion and premium design to Vans' most popular silhouettes. The first season included collaborations with Rebecca Taylor and Luella Bartley. Two years later, it forged a three-year partnership with Marc Jacobs, turning out six seasons of innovation designer Vans footwear.

In the years following, Vans has rolled out numerous collaborations with the likes of Pendleton, Brooks, Kenzo, Schwinn, Taka Hayashi, and Major League Baseball, just to name a few.

In July 2007, Vans released its anticipated special collection with the Vault x The Simpsons series that features artwork from Kaws, Stash, Gary Panter, Geoff McFetridge, Dave Flores, Futura, Mister Cartoon, Sam Messner, Taka Hayashi, Tony Munoz, Todd James and Neckface. It was the first time any brand had been allowed to adapt and re-design the characters to each artist's interpretation and design aesthetic. The unique, but classic Vans sold out 90 minutes after the release.

Hundreds of pairs of premium footwear have been developed for the Vault by Vans collection over the past decade.
