A private jet carrying Chris Brown was forced to make an emergency landing in Burbank on Monday (May 6), after the cockpit filled with smoke after takeoff.
According to TMZ.com, the singer boarded a Gulfstream 3 jet in Burbank Monday, headed to New Jersey, as he planned to attend the Met Gala event. However, nearly eight minutes into the flight, smoke began filling the plane.
The pilot immediately turned the plane around and made an emergency landing back at Burbank airport.
Sources told TMZ that there "was A LOT of smoke ... everywhere."
While passengers were shaken, Brown included, the pop star boarded a separate jet an hour after the incident ... and eventually made it to Teterboro, New Jersey to attend the event.
