After turning himself into authorities on Tuesday (April 23) on a probation violation, Lil Scrappy is a free man.
The rapper (real name: Darryl Kevin Richardson II) was jailed this week, after a warrant was issued because he violated his probation back in March. Apparently, the dispute over a pee test. Court officials said Scrappy tried to turn in a urine sample that was cold to the touch, which they believed could have been tampered with. So, they asked for another sample, and he refused.
According to TMZ.com, the rapper and reality TV star was released from jail on Wednesday (April 24) after a judge granted his lawyer's motion to recall the warrant.
A hearing is set for May 16 to resolve the issues.
Scrappy tells the website the warrant was bogus because he never submitted dirty pee.
