Kanye West

Kanye West is set to return to "SNL" for an upcoming show in May.

While it's unclear if he will strictly be a performer or skit guest, the hip-hop star will appear on the May 18th show, making it his sixth appearance, reports the New York Post.

In his "SNL" history, Ye has has been the musical guest four times, in promotion of each of his last four solo albums.

West was parodied by cast-member and impressionist Jay Pharaoh, the rapper famously criticized the show in 2010 single, "Power," saying, "F*** 'SNL' and they whole cast / Tell 'em Yeezy said they can kiss my whole ass."

An NBC rep also told the Post that the show has yet to announce its lineup.

I always find myself grooving whenever I hear Kanye’s music,
so I am definitely looking forward to his SNL episode! I just hope I’ll be able
to make it home from my Saturday night work shift at DISH before his
performances kick off, but that’ll be a long-shot. : ( If my busy schedule does
keep me later than I want, at least I can always use that boring bus ride home
to start watching on my phone with DISH Anywhere. Since this app can link my
phone up to my home DVR’s TV content, it’s never an issue to view even these
live programs just like I was in my living room!
