Detroit rap veteran, King Gordy, was shot multiple times recently, in an alleged robbery in his hometown.
While details remain sketchy, sources say the 35-year-old rapper was shot five times... and has survived. However, his current condition is unknown.
Gordy's rap peers took to Twitter upon hearing the news to wish him well. "King gordy.. get well my n****.. I'm praying for u... I'm on way back know to the d," wrote D12's Bizarre (@BizarresWorld), who recently collaborated with Gordy for the songs, "Justin Bieber" and "Psycho Bill."
D12 member, Kuniva, addressed tweeted (@KunivaD12) about the shooting, writing: "No. but prayers are up for my east side bro. RT @Kate2373: @KunivaD12 have you any updates on King Gordy's condition ? :("
King Gordy is a horrorcore rap veteran hailing from Detroit, who has worked closely with D12 and Eminem. In fact, Em executived produced his debut album, The Entity, which dropped in 2003. He also appeared in Eminem's big screen debut, 8 Mile, playing the fictional rap star, Big O.
