Rick Ross' Shooting Questioned: Was It Real Or A Hoax For Publicity?

Rick Ross made headlines this week, after his was allegedly shot at early Monday morning (January 28), as he drove home to his Ft. Lauderdale home.

At around 5 am on Monday morning, the Miami rap star was driving home from his 37th birthday party celebration, when a gunman opened fire on his Rolls-Royce. He swerved, attempting to evade the assailants, and struck a nearly building. Fortunately, Ross and a female passenger walked away unharmed.

At first, all fans wanted to know if he was alright. Now, some are questioning if it was a hoax for publicity, being that not one bullet hit the vehicle.

Rozay's rival, 50 Cent, even chimed in on Twitter, questioning if the incident was real or staged. "Hahaha fat boy hit the building? lol it looks staged to me. No hole's in da car," he wrote (@50Cent).

At press time, police were still investigating. The rapper has since hired a full-time security detail to ensure his safety.
