Adidas, and NBA stars like Dwight Howard, Jrue Holiday, and Tim Duncan are set to debut special NBA All-Star editions of the the brand's sneakers at the upcoming 62nd NBA All-Star Game in Houston.
Among the shoes are the D Howard Light, adizero Crazy Light 2, and the all-new Crazy Fast -- all inspired by Houston's history of aviation, speed, style and atmosphere of NBA All-Star weekend. They will roll-out February 1.
The Adidas NBA All-Star editions feature an impact camo pattern, which is designed to stand out on the court, and showcase bold style.
The Crazy Fast design is inspired by the speed and power of a combustion engine and the drive inside players to dominate on the court. It will be worn on-court by Jrue Holiday (Philadelphia 76ers), who is playing for the East; Tim Duncan (San Antonio Spurs), who will in the West; and by Rising Stars Challenge and NBA All-Star Saturday Night participants.
The D Howard Light NBA All-Star edition signature shoe boasts an impact camo red colorway. It is his lightest signature shoe to date, and features a reflective tongue made of chrome material, inspired by the backside of a CD to pay homage to his passion for music. The chromed three stripes and heels will pop under the bright lights at the NBA All-Star game.
The adizero Crazy Light 2 NBA All-Star edition will come in an impact camo green zest colorway. It weighs in at 9.5 ounces, the lightest basketball shoe on the planet.
