Yet another sneaker brand rolls out a "Year Of The Snake" special edition sneaker. The latest being Converse.
The long-running sneaker brand recently dropped their Spring 2013 Chinese New Year Collection, comprised two different sneakers in snake skin-inspired leather.
The Converse Cons Pro Leather Year of the Snake sneaker is a carefully crafted take on the legendary silhouette, utilizing a premium faux-python in a deep burgundy tone, which is balanced by lining the sneaker in ultra-soft sheepskin leather in tandem with Converse's iconic canvas.
They also include Chick Taylor versions as well, featuring snakeskin patterns under the blurring print on the uppers, with options of rock and roll black, seasonal Chinese red, and unique metallic colorings. Additonally, each sneaker has details such as rivets, zippers, flocking and mixture of premium materials.
The Converse Spring 2013 Chinese New Year Collection retails from $75 - $120, and is available now at Converse retailers and Converse.com.
