Nike Sportswear heads back to their fictitious "Area 72," where they create and design a collection celebrating basketball's mid-season weekend in Houston, the 2013 NBA All-Star Game.
The 2013 "Area 72" Collection is comprised of five different models that merge old-school favorites with new-age innovation: the Blazer, Vandal, Lunar Force 1, Barkley Posite Max and Air Force Max 2013.
Infused with galactic textures, reflectivity and glow-in-the-dark highlights, the offerings feature a custom galaxy print, also featured on Nike Basketball’s performance shoes for Houston, appearing on the collar lining of each shoe.
Nike's Raygun character is also featured on the tongue of each shoe. The character made its debut more than a decade ago.
The Nike Sportswear 2013 "Area 72" Collection drops in limited quantities on February 14th at select retail locations and Nike.com.
